DRAFT: GUSHER* is a creative company and artist network I founded in 2020 to document, program and release work from South Africa’s independent music and film scenes. It works through three divisions: GUSHER SOUND* for music, G FLIX* for film, and NOT SCHOOL*, a peer-to-peer education programme.
Alongside releases, GUSHER* runs LIVE XPS*, a live-session and livestream series, the Letterboxd List Series, and workshops like NOT A SCHOOL DAY*. I act as founder and creative director, designing the identity, the website and most of what the network puts out.
